Reverend Daniel Kim is the Founding & Senior Pastor at Global Community Church. He received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and has a Masters Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Born in South Korea and having spent his formative years in South America, God formed a global minded vision within that has brought him to serve multi-ethnic congregations as well as diverse communities in the inner city.
He is happily married to his extremely patient wife, Peggy and they have three proud children, Emma, Joshua, and Abigail. To the congregation, he is affectionately know as “PD” and he brings a quirky sense of humor to his sermons. When he’s not preaching or leading church meetings, he can often be found struggling to keep up with his youngest daughter, Abigail, as she runs around wherever her energy takes her.
Pastora Paola is also the Hispanic Ministry Director for GLOBAL and is originally from Monterrey, Mexico. She is a licensed Architect and Interior Designer and studied missiology at Christ For the Nations in her hometown. She is engaged in ministry with all generations and not only has experience in working with Hispanic families, but with refugee and other marginalized communities as well. She is passionate about the Word of God and evangelism. Pastor Paola also serves on the worship team and has been mentoring and discipling young adults and college students from various diverse communities.
